PLUSCO 100 API – MODIFIED THREAD COMPOUND
DESCIPTION
PLUSCO 100 API Modified Thread Compound is manufactured to meet the specifications of API Bulletin 5A3. It contains a complete corrosion protection package designed to protect threads against the effects of H2S (hydrogen sulfide), salt water, or many other chemicals.
APPLICATION
PLUSCO 100 API Modified Thread Compound may be used hydrostatic testing, pipe storage, or as a down hole running compound. It is recommended for use on casing, tubing, and line pipe, and meets all of the performance objectives for a thread compound described in Bulletin 5A3. PLUSCO 100 API Modified is not recommended for use on rotary shouldered connections as stated in API 5A3.
